TAYLOR MCNALLIE

ABOUT TAYLOR
Taylor McNallie is a Mom, Community Builder, Educator and Creative located in Mohkinstsis on Treaty 7 Territory. Taylor’s experience and background spans many lanes, including brand development, public speaking, music journalism, event and community organizing, content production and much more.
Taylor first became self-employed in 2016, and was soon a well-known public speaker, emcee and on-air personality. In 2018, she launched a 90s-MTV-inspired talk show titled Taylor Made Radio, which focused on amplifying artists and musicians through video and audio interviews. She handled all aspects of the show: production, filming, editing, promotion and marketing. Both her interviews for the show and her public speaking took her on annual cross-country tours to various events and festivals as media personnel. In 2019, she transformed Taylor Made Radio into an entertainment network. The Taylor Made Radio Entertainment Network showcases other creatives throughout the country, amplifying and raising awareness of the experiences of marginalized groups through visual, audio and written material.

By having to teach herself the ins and outs of building a strong personal brand, Taylor learned quickly how to establish a successful brand. This in turn led to the creation of Taylor Made Studios, a full service marketing agency through which she shares the knowledge she has gained. She works with other creatives, musicians, artists and small businesses to build their own brands and successful marketing campaigns, and to develop long-term, sustainable strategies to achieve their goals.

In 2020, Taylor decided to use her knowledge, skills and voice to amplify the Black Lives Matter movement. Much of what she had previously been busy with came to a halt as she focused on the emotional and material needs of her community. Since then, she has helped to create multiple grassroots organizations that all aim to uplift and support marginalized peoples locally, nationally and abroad. Inclusive Canada is focused on providing education surrounding systemic oppression, and Taylor has expanded this work through creative writing that she shares on various social media platforms. Walls Down Collective provides various forms of community care to those most impacted by systemic oppression. And Mutual Aid Canada helps to promote the importance of wealth redistribution through online campaigning, with nearly $150,000 redistributed in 2024 alone.

Today, Taylor remains focused on her commitment to community organizing, and brings her knowledge, experience and passion for community building, public speaking and multimedia creation to all she does.
